• The Archdiocese of Miami, along with the 194 dioceses of the United States Catholic Conference, is committed to providing safe environments for those who need protection the most, our  children and our vulnerable adults. For the safety of our students, all volunteers must be virtus trained and fingerprinted per the Archdiocese of Miami. Each volunteer is required to attend a virtus training class, register their attendance by creating a virtus account with their email address, and read/complete a monthly bulletin to keep their virtus account current. Go to www.virtusonline.org and click on "First time registrant" to see when and where a virtus class is available in your area. If you attended a Virtus class and have never set up your virtus account you will need to contact Jan Rayburn, Safe Environment Coordinator, at [email protected] or call 305-762-1250.   Fingerprinting must be completed through Fieldprint. Applicants need to log into www.fieldprintflorida.com to schedule an appointment. In the Reason why you need to be fingerprinted screen select the link

  I know my Fieldprint Code. Provide the following code for school volunteers: FPAOMSchoolVol (case sensitive) and continue to follow registration procedures. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

Dear Catechists,

Thank you so much for your blessed and wonderful job this 2023-24. Without you this Beautiful Program couldn't be possible. The  Lord bless all of you and Mother Mary covers you with her love.

Thanks to all of you that sign for the 2024-2025 year. I know it is not easy to plan another year but God is calling us to serve him through this beautiful Ministery.

My prayers is that the Lord bless you and all your families for the big haeart that you have to give your time, talent, and service to evangelize the kids. You are the first rock in the building of faith for . To put a seed of the Love of God in the children's heart is something very special that they will keep in their heart forever.

So, again, thanks for your support one more year. I will be in touch with all of you during Summer. Have a Blessed and safe trip for those who will travel.

Franciscan University of Steubenville

Dear Catechists,
We wanted to reach out and thank you for your willingness to serve in the catechetical ministry.
It is a noble calling, and we are grateful for your dedication.
This year, the Archdiocese of Miami is offering a new online formation program for catechists through Franciscan at Home. This program is designed to provide you with the tools andresources you need to be effective catechists.  
To get started, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the Franciscan at Home website: Click on the blue button that says "My parish or school is already registered. and I would like to set up my individual free account under that institution."
2. Follow the prompts to create your own free account under Mary Help of Christians
Parish.
3. Once you have created your account, select the "Catechetical Track from the menu.
4. Choose the option to "begin this workshop with a mentor from Mary help of Christians" and select Rocio Munoz as your mentor.
5. Start watching the workshops!
