Rosary for Peace– Second Monday of the month.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, "The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description."
Our wonderful ministry started in 2006, and its mission is to pray for the needs of all the children in the world, through the intercession and guidance of our Holy Mother the Virgin Mary; we unite with her through the prayer of the Holy Rosary.
We are men and women believers in the power of prayer and its fruits: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” -Matthew 7:7-8
“To pray is not an option, it is a need. If you love your children, pray for them and you shall see the fruits of your prayers.”
The practice of daily prayer changed my life. I fell even more in love with God and his faithfulness. Prayer increased my faith, I know my prayers are heard and I learned God will never abandon me. Glory to God!
Join our community in prayer of the Holy Rosary for our children and the children of the world in adoration of the Sacred Sacrament.
Every first Monday of the month at 7p.m. here in our parish.
-Maritza Monroe
St. Dominic & Blessed Alan were strong advocates of promoting the rosary and the special graces that came along with this holy devotion. Through St. Dominic and Blessed Alan, it is widely accepted that our Blessed Mother Mary granted fifteen promises to all those who recite the rosary.
