The Land Stewardship practice of the people of Mary Help of Christians has turned a barren, rocky 24 acres into a rich and bio-diverse landscape that is cultured and grown for the benefit of both the parish as well as the original flower and fauna. Shown here is a small selection of the many birds that can be seen on the grounds or the immediately adjacent waterways. Not all of these creatures can be seen on the same day or same time as their coming and going is dictated by their migratory habits, the time of year, the presence of predators, and the time of the day. However, they are seen frequently enough to be claimed as The Birds of Mary Help of Christians
