Reminders and Rainy Dismissal
Dear Catechists,
I am working on the calendar. You can see a tentative calendar however this need to be approved.
Faith Formation is planning to have a Catechist Retreat in September before classes starts and another one to give the Teacher Guide and Rostersof your class in Agust. I will update about this after Agust 19th. So you can contact parents and introduce and invite them to Open House in September.
Once classes start please take a note about the following Points:
Reminders for Classes and rainy dismissal:Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your class.
Students should not enter the classrooms if there is not an adult in the class.
Pick up your folder from Room 101 or at the gate.
First think to do is pass attendance. Please give 5 min. in case someone arrive late and you don't have to repeat it.
There is a prayer box and a pencil box in the closet in the middle of the classrooms. Please feel free to use them. If you need additional materials, please let us know by email at least one workday in advance so that we can have them ready for you.
Before the Class finishes:
Please erase the whiteboard if you used it.
Make sure all chairs and desks are put back in the same place they were found in.(Specially Sundy classes).
Please dont use any material from the Teacher' desk during class.
Room 107, 105, 106, 108 DON'T USE the back door.
6:15 pm classes and Sunday Classes keep the light on when you leave the clasrom and please check the kids don't forget any thing on the desks ( specially water bottles).
I will call on the speaker (you will listen it at the classroom) to give you a 10-minute warning before class ends at this time please start to put back the chairs. Five minutes before the class ends, we will do the closing prayer all classes together.
Leave the clasroom until you hear "Teachers pleaswe it is time to dismiss your class".
Walk with your class to the gate and wait that the gate is open. walk to the parking with your class.
Students will be placed in the parking by grade and the Traffic team will call the student to aproch to the car.
Rainy Dismissal:We will be trying something different for rainy dismissal this year. After the closing prayer, please keep the children in your classroom.
We will call the children on the speaker one at a time. When we call your class, please dismiss them from your classroom. The child should come through the awning and through Maria Hall, where we will walk them to their cars.
